Holyland Wildflower Mix Seeds of the Holy Land for the Garden
Each purchase of Seeds from the Holy Land supports local farmers working the Land of Israel.
With a mix of so many different flowers, this is definitely one of our favorites. It will make a colorful and meaningful corner in your garden. With a large variety of species blooming at different times, it is enjoyable to watch as each flower blooms in its season.
The flowers in this mix are native to and grow wild throughout the Holyland. These flowers have been a part of the landscape for millennia and graced the fields and hillsides that Jesus walked.
Most of the species are hardy and will grow in almost any climate during the spring. The plants will return year after year as long as they are not exposed to freezing temperatures. Once dry, the flowers can be seeded for planting in the following spring. This specific mix was grown and seeded on Mount Carmel.
Flowering Period: The different species will bloom at different times mostly throughout spring and summer.
Partial list of flowers included: Primroses, Buttercups, Poppies, Daisies, Linseed, Hollyhock, Moss, Snapdragon, Lotem, Iris, Lupine, Carmelit, Rue, Purple Clover, Chives, Bindweed, Cornflower, Teucrium, The Blood of the Maccabees and many more ...
