Miriam's Tambourine
This is a beautiful tambourine decorated with a design inspired by the biblical story of the parting of the Red Sea and created by the famous Israeli artist Yair Emanuel.
When the Israelites escaped from Egypt and crossed the parted Red Sea, they celebrated with the "Song of the Sea". The book of Exodus tells us that Miriam took the women aside and using her tambourine, led the women in song too. This tambourine is decorated with Miriam and her tambourine with the Red Sea in the background.
The "drum" is made from genuine leather with a wooden frame.
Made in Israel.
